I weep.
God says that we will be judged, yes. But he also says that if you judge others, by the same measure- you will be judged.
I'm so mad. and sad. and just speechless.

I'm SO angry... how can you call yourselves a church??
Darrell just posted a blog entry about Wesboro Baptist 'church'. Some church. These are the guys that protested Matthew Sheppard's funeral (the Wyoming University student that was killed in 1998 for being gay), they protest funerals of soldiers and now they're protesting Tim McLean's funeral tomorrow (the man who was beheaded on a Greyhound bus in Manitoba).

Amen. Apparently, the Canadian customs have stated that they won't let them into the country, so hopefully they follow through on that. And hopefully in their overzealous pursuit of their own brand of righteousness they will encounter the true God of power and mercy.

ReplyDeleteLove is the greatest command God gave and it's completely lacking in their approach. They might have a rude awakening come judgment day.
Abraham was pleading for the sinners in Soddom and Gomorra.
If we had more love in this world, we'd have much less suffering.
