2007 in review

Highlights of 2007

JANUARY
*visited with family at the Sobeys reunion
*met and started dating Charles
*entertained friends at my Back to School Party

FEBRUARY
*I won a scholarship from Stelco for academic achievement
*amazing Valentines Day date
*girls party in Niagara Falls for Laura's birthday

MARCH
*run-in with the police when a few of us went boating in a soccer field
*learned how to tap trees for maple syrup
*got hired as the summer student at Mohawk-full time job for 4 months
*became head teller at church

APRIL
*Jars of Clay concert with Debbie & Charles @ Redeemer
*my wonderful parents bought me a computer!!
*Excalibur Leadership Conference

MAY
*first time to go to the cottage
*work weekend at camp
*started summer job at the college

JUNE
*experienced my first demo derby
*nominated for a huge national scholarship

JULY
*annual river float near camp
*best friend got engaged!!!
*trained and worked on a Dragonboat team
*worked at camp for a week
*experienced Toronto in a whirlwind tour

AUGUST
*wrapped up my summer job, having worked for a month by myself
*went to the cottage and met Charles' sister
*another close friend got engaged

SEPTEMBER
*saw Brad Paisley in concert, ah-mayzing
*broke up with Charles
*quit Sobeys

OCTOBER
*received the national scholarship I was nominated for in June
*went to New York City to watch Screwtape Letters

NOVEMBER
*super cute haircut
*lunch with the president of Mohawk College
*amazing God experience

DECEMBER
*finished 3rd semester with a 97% average
*surprised the fam for the holidays

I'm sure there are more, but I've been working on this for an hour with constant interruptions and I'm wrapping it up here. 2008 hopes and dreams (better than resolutions) to come.

  2. october looked rough - lose your Sobey's job, break up with a great guy, AND attended a *shudder* country music concert? I'm so sorry.
    Okay, just kidding. I'm sure leaving Sobey's wasn't so bad.
