to all my adoring fans...

Okay, okay. I admit it, I don't have any, can't a girl dream? My mom thinks I'm cool. :)
So maybe I should actually write a post instead of just pictures? lol. Maybe. On Tuesday night my old landlords, Rob & Laura came over with their kids to just hang out. The kids were drawing pictures while us 'adults' (that's so weird, having kids in my house and me being part of the adult conversation...!!) sat at the table, drank our tea and had 'adult conversation'. We talked about all sorts of stuff, work, God, church, how life is going for each of us, they shared some funny memories, we had a good time. Rob has to be up everyday at 5:30 (yes, AM), so they didn't stay too long, but it was a nice visit.
Wednesday: I had my chiro and worked a decent shift (6.5 hours) at Sobeys. I was walking to the bus when these crazy people called out the window of their truck and I thought "oh sheesh, stupid kids I'm going to ignore them"...lol, it was Josh & Laura! haha. Well, mostly Laura, Josh was driving. So they picked me up (thanks guys!) and we went back to my house and played games and watched TV. Mostly watched TV. I'm totally getting addicted to Everwood. We played Carcassonne (which they LOVE) and a train game. I think I liked the train game more, less complicated. ;) But I enjoy games, next time though, we should keep the TV off-I might do better ;). So no scrapbooking so far this week, might do some yet, on my own.
Today: I worked at Subway today. Hatem is extremely nervous because the health inspector for the city of Hamilton as well as the Subway store inspectors are both due sometime soon. He gets very nervous, so sometimes its hard to work for him, because he's just too edgy. Can't tell him that though. He's a nice all around guy though, much nicer than our morning guy, Stephen; let's just say I pray a lot when I work with him. So work went well, Laura and the kids came by to get some lunch, and she said she'd be by tonight to drop off a kettle. And tonight came, and she did drop off a kettle. She was just here about a half hour ago with the kids and we talked about the possibility of me doing laundry at her house. I favour the idea of me just getting a mini washer & dryer and not having to rely on anyone or any business.
What else? I'm finally planning my dessert party, for May 27th. I'm writing out invites and planning what I'll be serving. Getting very excited! :D
Well, I should get back to finishing those invites and I think I might go to bed early tonight. I keep forgetting to buy earplugs. I don't know what it is, but T & H have gotten a lot louder lately, it sounds like they're constantly rearranging furniture. At 7:30 in the morning! :( grr. And right now...haha, that's funny. It's 7:30 in the evening. Maybe it's something about the hour. Oh, that reminds me, I committed to praying for Gooses (Kawkawa 2005) every night at 7:59, and I've been slacking off. I'll try and remember tonight. Okay, it's time I finished.
:) Niki

  2. i'll be your #2 fan ok? (i figure i'll let your mom or God or someone be #1 lol) I had fun last night! I like our chats, it's weird how having a 3rd person makes talking easier, i guess there's more stories and more input and stuff. I'm going home in an hour, because of perfect msn timing with my baby sis! I'm very excited, I'll see you sunday @ 4!

  5. Niki, I'm not positive about this yet, I'd have to confirm with my parents, but when I move out I don't need my little washer, we might be able to lend it to you. there's no dryer, but hanging stuff works well too...let me know if you're interested and I'll see what my folks think, I don't see a problem unless my mom has plans for it.
