I want to blog. I want to sleep. I want to unpack. Not necessarily in that order. But that's what I'll do.

I have spent a good portion of the day unpacking and getting organized. The place is still a disaster but I'm exhausted and want sleep.

The wedding was amazing. As soon as I have photos, I will post them. It was a beautiful celebration of their love and I considered at a huge honour to be one of their two maids of honour. Jo and I walked down the aisle together and since there was one less usher than bridesmaids (courtesy of Niki dumping Charles after he had been asked into the wedding party ...), Jo and I walked down with Kyle (yep, the ex). It was funny and slightly awkward-but I didn't HAVE to dance with anyone and I quite enjoyed jumping around and being a goof, and with no alcohol.

My new house is fantastic. Smaller than I had anticipated and as such I'm discovering I have to find new cubbyholes for my way too many belongings. I'm asking anyone if they need anything, and I mean ANYTHING-a table? a dining room set (I have two) dishes? towels? a phone? Anything. So, if you're in need, I likely have it and am willing to part with it.

I had some profound things I wanted to write but I'm in too weird of a mood, so I'll do that later. For now, naptime.

SOOOO tired.

  1. OK, does that mean don't send anything unless first checking with you?
Birthday? Money is always good. I like $, that way I can either pay a bill, go out for dinner, buy something I need.... $ ?
How about little things? I have some coloured elmer sticks, from Shanon; I assume, being 'elmer' they must be glue.? Want them? The glitter ones are still wrapped in plastic.
Now I need to look for your postal code. XO

  4. Niki, your mother is so funny :-) I could use some towels if you still have any not spoken for.
