tragedies

Perhaps it's just me, but I don't like this idea of 'all news, all the time'. I'd rather not be bombarded with the news of hurricanes, death, war, terrorist attacks, crashes, etc. at every turn.

I'm emotional and I have no problem with it. But my heart aches and as one woman said in the aftermath of the Simi Valley tragedy (the metro train crash outside LA on Saturday morning), "I just feel so small"-I empathize. I know God is bigger and I know He is in control, but sometimes I am just so fearful and sad.

Today is one of those days.
