In the last month, two people who are very close to me have attempted suicide. By God's grace they did not die. I know that God has a plan for each of these people. Unfortunately, for every person who considers suicide, there are too many (one is too many) who follow through and commit suicide. Three families in my circle of friends have been rocked by suicide deaths in the last year alone.

In 2004, Stats Canada reports that 3,613 people committed suicide. 275 in my age group.
