the countdown is on...

By this time in two days, the work of the last year will have all come to fruition. It is, once again, the Excalibur Leadership Conference weekend and wow. It's been a crazy couple weeks sorting out the last details for ELC, and yet SO encouraging!

I'm really looking forward to what God will do at this year's conference, it's shaping up to be pretty amazing. I had the opportunity of working with an excellent team of creative, knowledgeable, and supportive people. This weekend I will expand from our *small* team of 8 people, to a volunteer base of nearly 50. I'm looking forward to it! I've had great feedback from people, and some awesome prayer opportunities.

If you're in Burlington this weekend, come check out ELC at Compass Point Bible Church-Eaglesfield Campus (2501 Eaglesfield Road), it's $75 for students and $100 for adults, at the door, or just $15 for the Friday night session and worship.

And if you're too far away, too busy, or too poor... please pray. Satan has this annoying habit of trying to get in the way of God's good plans, and this weekend is no exception. We've hit snags, dropped to our knees in prayer, and rejoiced in God's faithfulness-would you please continue to lift up this weekend in prayer? We are aware of the powerful impact this weekend can and will have on many young leaders.

I am SO excited. Have I told you yet just how amazing my volunteers are? Because they are! Supportive in all things and joining together in prayer. I am pumped. I just can't say it enough.

Excalibur is gonna kick butt this year. err, God is gonna do it!

  2. Sorry for the generic comment...

I know either you read or have read my blog at times and/or I really enjoy YOUR blog. I need to make my blog private for a time and possibly move to a new URL. If you are interested in continuing to read (even ocasionally, no commitment for daily reading required!) I want to invite you to my private blog.

If you'd like an invite, please go to my site via my name here in the comments and follow the directions.

Sorry to be such a pain. :P

    Have a happy day!

  3. Good to hear (or rather "read" if you find the previous expression rather non-realistic) about what God is doing elsewhere. Haven't blogged in a long time (mostly facebook for me). Fortunately I've found some time to get to check these out.
    Cheers.
