one class cancelled

So I was supposed to have an 8 o'clock class this morning but our teacher is really sick and she cancelled it...except that I only found out 10 minutes ago, after waking up and having a shower. Mind you, I'm kind of thankful it's cancelled because now I can really study for my midterm that's in my English class at 9:30. So, all in all, a good thing. Wouldn't have minded a little extra shuteye though, I didn't sleep very well last night.

Recent News:
My valentines day flowers have finally had it, they should be composted today. They lasted 2 weeks though, I'm impressed-and I didn't change the water. Just think, if I had been a little (err, lot) more nurturing they may (err, would) have lasted longer. I've hung the roses cuz they're just too pretty to toss away.

My futon is gone. Erin had been lending it to me since November '05, but now that she's moving out she's taken it. So I'll get to do some more rearranging! Even more so now that my coffee table has arrived from BC, I get it from Charles tomorrow.

I'm tired. I fell asleep at church and in class a couple times this week. Last night I probably had only 2-3 hours of good sleep, not a good night. I'll get some breakfast and once I have some food in me I should be good to go. I hope.

I still have not spoken to my mom. She'd better get back from housesitting soon, I want to talk to her.

Finally, tomorrow is the...

I AM COMING

benefit concert and art show at Redeemer University College. If you live in the Hamilton area (or not so much but are willing to drive), it's totally free and it's going to be a great opportunity to learn more about the sex slave epidemic and what we can do to stop it. It's FREE. There's music! Come join up.

So yeah, that's my lastest news. Adios.

love,
niki

  1. Going home today. I'd come to the concert, but it's just a little too far away. I hope it's a success. A lot of people don't want to know about the evil that's happening around the world, as long as they're not affected by it. How goes that saying?-For evil to flourish, all it takes is for good men (that's women too) to do nothing.-
