I cannot get myself motivated to study for my exam tonight. I studied a whole 20 minutes before I remembered I just "had to do something online". It's especially hard to get motivated because this is an easy class AND it's open book, I can bring not just my textbook, but my class notes as well...AND (yeah, there's more), he gave us the case study (which is half the test) in advance. But I know him and guaranteed he'll phrase the questions weird and I'll mess up. I just wish I could be more motivated to study. sooooo hard.
In other news, Lisa and I watched the Nativity Story last night, sooooo good. I just loved the way it was done, the acting, the perspectives, the wise men-all very well done. The wise men were great, definitely added an element of humour to the movie. I was very impressed with the way it was done. Man, God is soooo good, and like I said to Lisa last night, he's REALLY smart-when you think about the whole story and how things could've gone wrong, and it all worked out to glorify God. In other words, I really liked the movie and you need to go watch it.
The other thing I would ask you to do is to go to the I AM COMING website which was started by my friend Jay. It's promoting awareness about sexual exploitation. 800, 000 girls and women are kidnapped each year and used for sex. The purpose of their life is to gratify the disgusting desires of pond scum until they die. The idea of I AM COMING is two-fold 1)to the girls-hold out hope, we're coming for you and 2)to the traffickers, get out of the business you scum, because we're coming and we're not stopping until the sex trade is eradicated. For real. There are so many ideas being formed right now, please sign the declaration and consider buying a ring (or 20), to support the freedom of these girls. I'm pretty sure Jay said they already rescued one girl. It costs just under $1000US to rescue a girl, and when you think about it, it's not all that much. At the VERY least, please go to the declaration page and sign it!! PLEASE.

ReplyDeleteI watched the 2. video, the first wouldn't load and now none will play. But I'm aware of many awful things happening in this world. I'm glad more is being done to help the victims. Thinking of you, praying for you, all the best for your exam XO!!
