homework

Just sitting at school, finishing a major assignment that's due tomorrow and wondering why I have such a long break between two of my classes. I still have another 1/2 hour before my Admin Skills class, which I'm not looking forward to because there's a math test. I really shouldn't be worrying about it because its very basic math and we get to use a calculator, but I still don't like it. Some of the ways the questions are phrased combined with our (very well meaning) teacher's inability to comprehend math just make me go "ugh".

I might get to see a camp friend this Saturday for breakfast! :) And Gabbi might get to come along too. I'm very much looking forward to it. I might have to come home and have a nap, depending how early we go because I have to work until 1130 that night, and I'll be working late the night before. But...I get to see friends! :)

I have some homework to do, but the rest of it is at home so I can't do it right now. *darn*. I have some DP homework, which shouldn't take too long (I think there's a total of 3 assignments) and then I have some group work to do in my Internet and Professionalism classes. Guess what I'll be doing when I get home from school today?? (good thing I get to leave early because I'm done Keyboarding).

Tonight I have a 6 hour meeting at work about customer service. It's part of our new "Just Add Sobeys" campaign, and everyone in the store is required to have already completed this meeting-but for some reason they just never booked me in for one. The threat was if you didn't show up for one and have yours completed by last Saturday, you'd be fired. Yeah right, as if Sobeys would ever fire ANYONE. Don't get me wrong, I love my job-but sometimes I think they could stop being so nice and maybe let a few people go who really shouldn't be there.

Ok...I'm going to go do some reading for HR, I'm learning how to be an effective leader. The funny thing about this class is that I've been taking these types of courses for years (going back to Impact Team, and even as far back as JR High), and even in ministry settings I've helped teach these classes. Guess it's a good thing I'm getting a good mark then, I'd be disappointed otherwise. Ok, now for the reading.

hearts&hugs
