*yawn*

I know it's been a while since I last updated, can you hardly contain your excitement as you prepare to read the latest and greatest of my adventures? Yeah, I figured you could. :) Well these last 11 days (since my last post...note the date stamp) have been filled with great and wonderful things, really they have! I have a new job at Subway (in addition to my job at Sobey's), but I'm technically still 'training', so we'll see this time next week whether or not I still 'have' the job. Nonetheless, I got called back to train, which is fun. I always said I never wanted to work fast food, and now this will be my second time!! Oh well. Both of my bosses are willing to work with each other's schedule, so I'm excited for that and excited for how it's all working itself out.
As for the apartment hunt, it's going okay. I still have some more places to look at and I have to make the right decision. I'd really love to get that first apartment I saw, the two bedroom, but I can't afford so much in rent, so Mr. LeaKer has suggested that I get my 'loyal assistant' to bargain on my behalf.
My loyal assistant, you may ask. Yes folks, that which seemed would never come, has come...Niki has *gasp* a boyfriend. And, wow. His name is Kyle and wow. Seriously, I can't say much else. This last week (basically since Tuesday night) has been a whirlwind. And I know this sounds pathetic, but I haven't been able to eat, sleep or function beyond that of a giddy 15 year old schoolgirl. I even got sick yesterday at work, I thought when they said 'lovesick' the emphasis was supposed to be on love, not on sick. :P Kyle is Matt LeaKer's brother...that ought to get a fun response out of many of you. And for those of you that don't know, the LeaKer's are the family that let me stay at their house for 2 weeks when I got here and Matt is the guy from Bible school (I feel like a broken record, I've said that SO many times). So, since Thursday night Kyle and I have been dating...I'll post a picture of him soon (I remembered that you wanted one dad).
Well, since I've gone and gotten myself all giddy again, I guess I should go do something that takes my mind off of him, even just for a little while. I'm going to help the LeaKer's take down their xmas decorations. Kyle's not here though, it's just me, Mr. LeaKer and Debbie. Fun times.
