Just a little something to make you laugh... There was this little girl in front of me at church on Sunday night sitting on her dad's lap who was constantly looking around for people to make eye contact with and giggle at...and well, I love kids, I can't ignore her. ;) So as she's smiling at me, I smile back, and she's giggling away...very cute. I notice that she's mentally handicapped, and that just makes her so much more adorable, that big smile and huge eyes...sooooo cute. Until, that is she starts making a lot of noise. And the noise would be fine, but instead she turns around to look at me, points her finger, looks back at her dad and says, "MAMA", quiet at first...but then it got louder and louder, until ppl started to notice. Boy, did I feel bad for the dad-he was embarassed, and so was I, but I couldn't help laughing! Everyone around us thought it was pretty funny too. Cute kid. Ah...kids. :)
I'm just killing some time now before I have to catch the bus...I didn't bother to figure out how much time I would need to get ready, and so I set my alarm for waaaay too early. Oh well, I guess I can do my devotions. Devotions are always good! :) And I have an hour to do them and have some breakfast. Whoa, is it ever early. At least I have a bus buddy today, Maeghan and I work the same shift, woo-hoo!!! Not at the same place though...but it sure is handy having so many stores in one place. Seriously, the Meadowlands, where we work, is huge, it's one big shopping mall that stretches over 5 city blocks, I think? It's got everything from a grocery store to a future shop. I mean EVERYthing, clothes, theatre, dollar stores, coffee shops, book stores, restaurants, fast food places, retail outlets, home centres. It's huge. I remember the first time walking from one end to the other I thought it'd never end. It doesn't take me very long now, because I know the fastest route...but wow. Anyhow, so the point to that was, I have a bus buddy!!
Blessings,
Niki :)
