mmm, soup!

Today I made soup for the first time ever, from scratch.

It's called Hearty Broccoli Soup, made with broccoli, potatoes, carrots, onions and celery. It currently looks like mush. When it cools I think I will puree it as it's rather thick already and I'm more of a fan of creamy soups than soup-y soups.

Also, I made it with soy milk since that's all I have on hand, wonder how that'll taste.
